Using historic tax credits for the Westminster House redevelopment

The Buffalo Federation of Neighborhood Centers (BFNC) is working with kta preservation specialists and the Carmina Wood Morris architecture firm to redevelop the former Westminster House into senior housing facilities.  kta preservation specialists has prepared a Part 1 and National Register nomination for the building, and will help the BFNC to obtain historic tax credits for the project.  Constructed in 1909, the brick building was affiliated with the national Settlement House movement which sought to integrate local community residents with social workers in the building.
