National Register Listings
kta preservation specialists has listed numerous individual properties and multi-property historic districts on the National Register of Historic Places. Projects like the Calumet Building, which kta preservation specialists conducted in 2010, have aided in the rehabilitation of historic structures throughout the Buffalo region. Listing this building on the National Register required extensive historic research and writing, analysis of the building's physical existing conditions, and photographic documentation. After the building was listed on the National Register, the owner was able to repair damages to the extensive polychromatic terra cotta as well as provide restaurant facilities and office space. Working together with the architecture firm Carmina, Wood and Morris, kta preservation specialists completed this National Register listing, advised new design, and obtained historic tax credits for the developer.
